BJSR0 - Pilot issue, weekly startup featuring submission, upcoming events, select articles on quick launch

Many things have come to an abrupt halt due to COVID19, but entrepreneurship never stops and cannot afford to stop: this is a lifetime opportunity for startup founders to focus on improving their products, perfecting their pitches, and planning their business strategies — all undisturbed, while other things in the world slow down.
BJSR was born during this time too. We believe that with great chaos comes great opportunity, and indeed, we’ve all seen great companies like Uber, Airbnb, Square and Venmo born out of the 2007-2009 crisis. We at BJSR stand with early-stage startup founders and weekly twice share useful tips and resources about startup and entrepreneurship. We’d like to shape our future with your input too: so please don’t hesitate to get in touch: jason@bluejayreview.com. General advice, article submissions and partnership inquiries are all welcome.

Every week, we select one startup from all submissions and feature it here. Please use this form to submit your business and share it with the community.

In this issue, we focus on launching your startup fast. In the world of startup building, there is no ‘perfect‘ timing for launch; perfectionism is no good and you should get it out to the world as soon as possible and have it tested out by the market. We curated some articles on this front:

I have an app idea. What’s next? (abdoriani.com)
Order of operations for starting a startup (ycombinator.com)
3 ways to outsmart your perfection (leanstartup.co)

We are building a community and welcome your input sincerely. Feel free to drop us an email to suggest topics, sponsor some content, or just say hello! Email at: jason@bluejayreview.com.
